A study abroad course that investigates the components of sport management from an international perspective, including historical and cultural influences on sport. Prerequisites: Junior standing or higher; permission of instructor.

Provides theoretical and practical applications of fundraising in the sport industry. Prerequisites: 86 credit hours; or graduate standing.

Investigation of how ethics, morals, and values influence the interpretation of laws and adherence to rules governing sport competition by athletes, coaches, and administrators. Writing Intensive. Prerequisites: PES 119, PES 180, and PES 293 with a B- or better; PES 218QR, PES 280, and PES 318 with a C or better; PES 360 or PES 380 with a C or better; minimum of 86 credits; or graduate status.

Exploration of one or more aspects of the field of physical education by individual study. Prerequisite: Permission of the department chairperson and instructor required.

Investigation of selective major issues in physical education and sport. Prerequisite: permission of the instructor.

An integrated internship experience applying theoretical and practical knowledge in a sport management setting. Prerequisites: Enrolled in the Accelerated MA in Sport Administration degree program; 3.0 overall GPA or better; and permission of the sport management internship supervisor.
