WGS 100 How Gender Affects Our Lives

An interdisciplinary course on the creation of gender inequalities. Students will delve into the complexities of gender identity from historical, contemporary, intersectional, and international perspectives. May be offered as Writing Intensive. Explorations of special problems in subject areas found within Women and Gender Studies individually agreed upon by student and instructor. May be repeated for a maximum of six hours. Prerequisites: Major or minor in WGS, at least 12 hours completed in WGS, and approval by instructor and program director before registration. Recommended: WGS 100.
