Interdisciplinary study of goddesses in selected cultures, ancient and modern. Uses intersectionality to analyze opportunities and challenges inherent in gendering gods, including borrowing/reinventing goddesses today. Identical to REL 303. Credit may not be earned in more than one of these courses. May be offered as Writing Intensive. Prerequisite: ENG 201 with a grade of C or better.
