Applying For Financial Aid

To apply for financial assistance at Central Michigan University, prospective students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), available online at https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa.

To receive priority consideration for available institutional funds, submit the FAFSA by May 1.

All CMU offers are made for one academic year only. Reapplication must be completed for each year.

Financial aid awards for prospective students are not offered before the student has attained regular admission status through the Admissions Office. All students must have regular admission to an aid-eligible degree.
