Updates and Corrections to the 24-25 Undergraduate Bulletin

- The Journalism Major and Photojournalism Major have been fully approved internally and externally and updated in the 24-25 Undergraduate Bulletin.
- The Special Education Major: Teachers of Students with Emotional Impairments has been put on hiatus. Contact the Department of Teacher and Special Education for more information.
- CLEP: English Literature was updated.
- PAD 412 is not offered as WI.
- Page 92 - Withdrawal or Leave of Absence to Enter Military Service has been updated.
- Page 179 - Media Arts Major - Required Courses IV was inadvertently omitted from the printed 24-25 Bulletin. See online or posted pdf for the correct version.
- Page 157-158 - Teaching Social Studies 5-12 major and 5-9 minor and 7-12 minor - Under Admissions sections, Item 9 on major and Items 7 on minors were updated so all were consistent.
- MUS 182 - The correct title is Alto/Soprano Chorus. It was listed in correctly in some music programs in the print version.
- Chemistry programs were updated regarding taking courses as credit/no credit on majors and minors: Courses on majors and minors may not be taken on a Credit/No Credit basis, with the exception of CHM 211QR, which may be taken Credit/No Credit on the non-teaching Chemistry Minor only.
- Recreational Therapy and Rehabilitation Major - Under Required Courses I, a note was added for clarification of when to take courses RPL 310 and RPL 518.
- Outdoor and Environmental Recreation Major - Under Required Professional Core Courses, a note was added for clarification of when to take RPL 518.
- Page 273 - Public and Nonprofit Administration Major - under electives, the Public Policy Analysis Undergraduate Certificate was removed as an elective choice because it was deleted by the Academic Senate as of Fall 2023.
- Grants - updated information on CMU Grants was added.
- International Baccalaureate - BIO HL was updated.

The purpose of this bulletin is to provide information about CMU’s academic programs available in the 2024-25 academic year and information concerning admissions, academic regulations and requirements, services available to students, and CMU staff and faculty.
