Indigenous Studies for Social Studies Educators, Undergraduate Certificate
Students pursuing an Indigenous Studies for Social Studies Educators Undergraduate Certificate are encouraged to meet with an advisor during the first semester of attendance at CMU.
Minimum Totals for Graduation: 9 hours
Admission Requirements, Retention & Termination Standards
To sign the certificate, the following criteria must be met:
- Signed Teaching Social Studies (Grades 5-12) Major
- To earn the certificate, students must successfully complete the required courses and earn a cumulative GPA of 3.0 in all required and elective courses.
- The certificate may be granted after completion of 9 credits. This certificate may not be earned separately from the successful completion of the Teaching Social Studies (Grades 5-12) Major.
