Updates and Corrections to the 22-23 Graduate Studies Bulletin

BCA 516 - prerequisites corrected per the 4/27/22 Graduate Committee minutes.
The MA in Counseling is now housed in the Department of Counseling, Educational Leadership, and Higher Education. All other programs housed within this department may be found by clicking the department link.
The MA in Special Education: The Master Teacher is now housed in the Department of Teacher and Special Education. All other programs housed within this department may be found by clicking the department link.
Changing Degree Programs has been updated to reflect the current procedure.
New courses: BIO 516, PTH 704, PSC 536, MED 900.
Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology - Introductory paragraph titled "Curriculum" was corrected to reflect the total number of 95 hours.
The Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration is being offered in 2022-23.
The Master of Special Education has updated the 2nd item of the Admission, Retention and Termination Standards, and made part of it into an Item 3 (which is the same as previous).
The Master of Science and Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology were updated per published curricular minutes.
The Master of Science in Sport Administration now has Accelerated Admissions for current students.
Master of Science in Engineering - the GRE requirement for admission was removed.
The MS in Physics and the Ph.D. in Physics were updated with regard to application deadlines.
MA in Counseling (all concentrations) - the following was added to the Admissions Retention and Termination section: Resume or short statement of relevant work or volunteer experience
MA in Education - The Community College concentration has been put on hiatus as of Spring, 2023. Contact the program director for more information.
Academic Overview - Page 11 - the MPA: State and Local Government Concentration should be listed under the Accelerated Graduate Programs section.
Graduate Certificate in Disability Studies and Community Inclusion - The Admissions requirements were corrected to say 2.7 GPA.

The purpose of this bulletin is to provide information about CMU’s academic programs available in the 2022-23 academic year and information concerning admissions, academic regulations and requirements, services available to students, and CMU staff and faculty. Students are responsible for ensuring that all requirements for graduation have been met. It is expected that students will regularly discuss their plans of study with academic advisors.
