EGR 356 Thermodynamics I

Fundamentals of engineering thermodynamics are covered which include: general energy concepts, first and second laws of thermodynamics, entropy, processes, power cycles and refrigeration cycles. Prerequisite: CHM 131 or 161; EGR 251 with grade of C- or better; MTH 133 with grade of C- or better; PHY 146 with grade of C- or better; permission of E&T advisor; signed engineering major; cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
