Sports Communication Minor, B.A.; B.A.A.; B.S.; B.S. in B.A.
The Sports Communication minor focuses on the methods and techniques for communicating about sports in a variety of formats, media, and contexts that prepares students to be sports anchors, reporters, writers, announcers, commentators, and podcasters. Beyond the core that focuses on essentials for reporting and on-air delivery of sports content, the electives allow students to diversify and specialize their minor with supplemental courses that may explore diversity, equity, and inclusion topics, social media metrics, or more study and practice in on-air presence.
