MTH 321 Elementary Number Theory

Divisibility, Euclidean algorithm, prime factorization, congruences, elementary Diophantine equations, and applications to cryptography. MTH 321 and MTH 521 cannot be taken in the same semester. Prerequisite: MTH 175 or MTH 332.
