Admission Requirements, Retention & Termination Standards
- With advisor approval, 3 credits in a related discipline may be counted toward the major.
- No more than 15 credits of transfer credit can count toward the Anthropology Major.
- No more than 3 credits in the major can be taken as credit/no credit.
- ANT 451 for majors cannot be taken as credit/no credit.
- No Anthropology course at the 500 level can be taken by majors for credit/no credit.
- Anthropology majors are strongly encouraged to gain practical field and/or laboratory experiences as undergraduates in their chosen branch of anthropology and to consider a Study Abroad program and world language study as well.
