International Business Minor, B.A., B.A.A., B.F.A., B.S., B.S. in B.A.
This minor is for those CMU students who wish to complement their major course(s) of study with foundational knowledge in international business that will let them become involved, either in graduate school or career employment, with an emphasis on the conduct of international business.
The International Business Minor broadens your global perspective by covering international trade, cultural dynamics, and the global economy, making you a valuable asset to employers in any field.
Admissions Requirements, Retention & Termination Standards
To declare a minor in International Business, see an advisor in the Department of Management after declaring your major.
No more than a total of 27 hours of credit earned in business courses, including business transfer hours, may be counted towards graduation unless the student is majoring in the College of Business Administration.
Students may not undertake both the major in international business and a minor in international business. The minor is open to both business and non-business students.

Electives I (6 hours)
Select 6 hours of MGT courses at the 200 level or higher.
Electives II (6 hours)
Select 3-6 hours from ACC, BIS, BLR, ECO, ENT, FIN, HSA, or MKT courses at the 300-level or higher.
Or, 3-6 hours of world language (FRN, GER, SPN, CHN, JPN, OJB, POR,) or approved study abroad course.
Total: 21 semester hours
