Updates and Corrections to the 23-24 Graduate Studies Bulletin

- The Department of Marketing and Hospitality Services Administration is now the Department of Marketing, Hospitality, and Logistics
- The Master of Entrepreneurial Ventures is on hiatus from admissions as of 8/16/23. Contact the department for more information.
- In the Master of Science in Engineering, under Plan A, EGR 697 and EGR 791 were removed from Required Courses I per the curriculum proposal. The paper Bulletin is correct.
- The Master of Science in Administration (MSA) office has moved to EHS 334.
- The Master of Public Administration has been updated. It was approved internally and externally and is ready to be offered. The changes were to remove the concentrations.
- The correct title for MUS 753 is "Violin."
- M.S. in Exercise Physiology - Admission information was updated to state GRE is not required for admission.
- The Logistics Management Certificate was brought out of hiatus and is approved internally and externally for offering by CMU.
- MS in Engineering - Under Admissions, Item 1.d. eliminated (concerning reference letters and statement of purpose).
- MA in Counseling - The first two paragraphs in the Admission, Retention and Termination section were udpated.
- BSAT/MSAT 3+2 - Updated Admissions, Retention, and Termination Standards - Admissions: Items 1, 2, and new Item 8. Retention: Item 3 (Page 144)
- MS in Neuroscience and PhD in Neuroscience - Admission information was updated to remove the supplemental application requirement.
- The Late Registration Fee was removed from the Tuition and Fees section (as of Fall 2023).
- Graduate Certificate in Venture Financing was added to the Bulletin as of Spring 2024.
The purpose of this bulletin is to provide information about CMU’s academic programs available in the 2023-24 academic year and information concerning admissions, academic regulations and requirements, services available to students, and CMU staff and faculty. Students are responsible for ensuring that all requirements for graduation have been met. It is expected that students will regularly discuss their plans of study with academic advisors.
