The Programs:

The Department of English at Central Michigan University offers the following graduate degrees:

Master of Arts in English Language and Literature

Master of Arts in Language and Literature with an concentration in Creative Writing

Master of Arts in English Language and Literature with a concentration in Children's/Young Adult Literature

Master of Arts in English Composition and Communication (this program is on hiatus and not accepting admissions)

 Graduate classes are small and provide the student with ample opportunity for interaction with professors and other graduate students. Graduate-level classes are offered in the late afternoons, evenings, weekends, and online. Accelerated programs for current undergraduate CMU students are also available.
