Office of LGBTQ+ Services and Gender Equity Programs

The purpose of the Office of LGBTQ+ Services and Gender Equity Programs is to coordinate programs, to participate in educational forums to raise awareness of LGBTQ+ concerns, and to meet the needs of CMU’s LGBTQ+ community. Programs address issues of heterosexism, homophobia, transphobia, coming out and other issues related to the experience of sexual orientation and gender identity/gender expression.
