Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Studies, Undergraduate Certificate
This 12-credit hour certificate is designed for degree-seeking students of any major and non-degree-seeking students who desire to improve accessibility for individuals who are Deaf or Hard-of-Hearing (D/HOH) and their families across educational, social, and professional environments.

Admission Standards
Open to degree-seeking students of any major and non-degree-seeking individuals approved by CMU Admissions for course enrollment.
Completion, Retention and Termination Standards
Certificate completion will be governed by CMU standards for successful course completion (e.g., passing grades, addressing Incompletes), successfully meeting course prerequisites as appropriate, and adherence to the student code of conduct.
