MET 340 Synoptic Meteorology I

Analysis of large-scale weather patterns through the application of concepts from physical and dynamical meteorology. Focus on cyclogenesis, frontogenesis, and the quasi-geostrophic framework. Prerequisites: MET 310 and 320 with a C- or better; MTH 233; PHY 145. Pre/Co-requisite: MET 330.
