Examination of causes and consequences of conflicts around natural resources, historical and contemporary. Analysis of sustainable development as a tool to reduce natural resource conflict. Prerequisites: GEO 121 or ENV 101 or junior standing. Recommended: Intro-level physical geography, geology, or environmental science course.
